On March 4th, MarLEN – Maritime Low Emission Network – hosted its inaugural Synergies Meeting, bringing together five key projects: AI4COPSEC,BlueBarge, TRUSTEE, PATH2ZERO, and HARPOONERS, all united by a shared commitment to zero-emission waterborne transport in Europe.
The meeting was designed to align efforts, reduce duplication, and unlock opportunities for collaboration across initiatives funded under the same European framework. By fostering structured dialogue between projects, MarLEN is ensuring that innovation doesn’t happen in silos — but builds on shared knowledge and complementary expertise.
This first gathering is part of MarLEN’s broader strategy to strengthen the European Research Area in the waterborne transport sector and align national programmes with the ambitions of the Zero Emission Waterborne Transport (ZEWT) partnership.
