On 26 May 2026, MarLEN co-organised its Networking and Brokerage Event alongside a broad coalition of maritime clusters and Horizon Europe flagship projects — GCE Ocean Technology, Forum Oceano, Pôle Mer Bretagne Atlantique, MSE International, EO4MI, AI4COPSEC, and BLUEACTIONAA — gathering 36 participants to explore the intersection of blue economy innovation and waterborne decarbonisation.
Programme highlights:
- An opening session introduced the MarLEN project, followed by a pitching session in which participating clusters and projects — represented by seven speakers from across Europe — presented their funding opportunities, support services, and concrete decarbonisation initiatives
- Three moderated thematic networking rooms facilitated targeted exchange on metocean forecasting for marine operations, digital collaboration tools for stakeholder engagement, and funding mechanisms for a sustainable and circular blue economy
- The event closed with a wrap-up and conclusions session moderated by APRE
