Thirteen ministries and funding organisations across nine European countries are inviting maritime innovators to compete for transnational support in zero-emission waterborne transport.
The second funding call under the MarLEN programme has launched- submission period open between May 1st -September 30th 2026- and it carries considerably more weight than its predecessor. Whether your work is still at the research bench or ready for full-scale demonstration, there is a track designed for where you are now.
Eligible projects span the full breadth of maritime decarbonisation — from sustainable alternative fuels and electrification to port infrastructure, digitalisation, vessel design, and retrofitting. Applicants must form a consortium of at least two legal entities from different participating countries, with industry involvement required and SME participation strongly encouraged.

Organisations worldwide are encouraged to participate with their own national funding.
